“You are so heavenly bound, that you are no earthly good…”~Baptist Preacher
Do you remember when you were a sinner? Do you remember when you were once a “back-slider?” How about when you used to cuss like a sailor? Well, if you can’t remember, you just lied to yourself, which is a sin as well…
As Christians we tend to look down at sinners as “those people,” when we should look at them as “our lost Brothers and Sisters.” We tend to forget who we once were, and put on the suit and cape with a big “SC” on the chest for “Super Christian.” The suit is nothing more than a mirage that block the salvation of others who could be saved by our influence through Christ. Instead, we knowingly or unknowingly lead them astray.
What is a difference between a sinner and a Christian? As the song says, a Christian is nothing more than just a sinner who fell down, but got up. Don’t put yourself on such a high pedestal that you cannot reach down to help someone in need. As Christians we need to let sinners know who we once were, and how Christ has influenced our lives. Honest conversations with others can lead to salvation for many people. Remember, as Christians we need to decrease the “I” and increase the “He” that is within us.
May God bless you. Good night.

Great truth, Christians should not get a big head but realized where they came from.

Very powerful-It’s important to glance back at where we came from so we can remember the journey God has brought us on, and use that knowledge to help others-too often we get so caught up on where we are that we forget where we’ve been and allow the Lord’s role in our victory to be diminished, and our role in the victory to be increased well beyond what it should be.

Very true. A simple message that cuts to the core of it. It’s so easy to lose perspective.

Often times, we become FAITHFUL christians and obtain a memory lapse. We have to realize each person must go through their own experiences/struggles in their own time but those who think they have arrived have to stop being so judgmental during that process. You have been there, done that and still have your moments too. Pray for them, not beat them with reminders of their wrong doings.
